Ryan lives in Melbourne, Australia and for the longest time has been an avid gamer, consumer of anime and lover of good quality pizza and ramen.
Ryan was an I.T professional by day and in his spare time he would let his imagination romp unfettered, consequently sketching his favourite ideas or designing epic heroes (more often than not in his own likeness...) until the Summer of 2015 when he realised that his spare time was the time he cherished the most and thus he followed his heart in order to walk another path; one that saw him create a website to display his craft and talk about himself in the third person.
Ryan is a self-taught artist with heavy influences of traditional Japanese Manga and Anime fundamentals. Born in Australia and raised during the 90's, Ryan was exposed to popular TV series: Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh! and many more at the height of their popularity. His childhood was full of similar TV series and Video Games. By the time Ryan was a teenager he'd well and truly resigned himself to an existence of nothing but fictional heroes and game consoles.
Throughout High School Ryan studied every Art, English and I.T related subject he was afforded and upon completion of his VCE he enrolled into a Multimedia course where he learned where his skills could be applied in the work force. To his disappointment (at the time) the real world applications would be very limited and it is around this time that things started to shift towards a different path - one which saw Ryan take a much more serious interest in Computers and ultimately attend Monash University where he would study Information Technology and major in Information Systems.
Suffice to say that career wore out its welcome and as these things usually do, life came around full-circle and so with a renewed vigor, Ryan threw himself back into academia where he's currently working towards a Bachelor in Animation.
Ryan hopes to graduate in 2017 and see himself employed consequently, while fulfilling commissions on the side.
So I sincerely thank you for coming and hey, while you're here why not look at my portfolio because you might just find something you like, something that inspires you or that sparks an idea.
Peace and love <3.
